2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Alaska White

water header tank cap

Hi Ive just noticed my water header tank screw cap is missing, I dont know how long its been missing, i only have had the car 6 weeks and Im sure it was there , and i check it every week, where could I buy one, do I have to go to a main dealer .thanks

do you mean the cap for the screen wash filling spout?

if so - mine popped off whilst I was filling it...

I had to remove the headlight unit and found it on a ledge just behuind and underneath 2002 Honda VFR800

water header tank cap

hi thanks for replying, no its the header tank that feeds the radiator

You dont need to unscrew and remove that one to check the coolant level, its a transparent tank, I bet the dealer never screwed it back down, just sat it on top and its bounced off and gone missing on the road.
I would think its main dealer or a breakers yard trip, doubt Halfords and the like would have one of that type.
