MY11 Management Light and DPF

Our fleet MY11 FL2 manuals have all had the amber management light come up with the "reduced engine power" message. Seems to happen on first start up but the reduced power only has an effect for about 10-15 miles.

The cause is due to an over responsive DPF sensor resulting in a false trouble code.

The good news is that the DTC can be reset by a quick software download via the dealer's SDD.
