Fitted my mevill and moon seat covers ooooo! :P

Set arrived this morning, fit perfectly over the seats i paid £200 for the seat of 5 but they are very very hard wearing whilst remaining comfortable. They are made from canvas they are on ebay if you want to see the quality. I'm very pleased as my seats wont get damaged by my hedge trimmers etc Razz lolll!

Do they allow for the airbags in the seats to go off correctly in the case of an impact?

Hiya guys I will get some photos when I can get my hands on a camera, only have a £20 tesco phone!! Razz Although it still does everything i want it to do Razz haha. Regarding the airbags in the seats there is a velcro seem along one of the sides which I was told would just tear in the unfortunate event of an impact. I didn't really bother to check to be honest, all i know is they are super hard wearing and comfy and fit like a glove and come in decent colours Razz.

Arm rests ? I dont have front armrests but covers are supplied the one in the rear also has its own little cover which is uber cool! Razz lol

Which colour ... grey or sand? Am I correct in assuming you don't have electric front seats?
Oh ... & did you get a cover for the rear centre headrest?

FL2 Mevill & Moon seat front seat covers

Depending on the tear strength of the velcro used (there are many different "tear strengths" specified for the manufacture of velcro) it will hinder the speed of airbag deployment. That in itself may increase the likelihood of the severity of any injury.

The official LR front seat covers have an open vent to facilitate the free unobstructed deployment of the FL2 front seat(s) side airbag. That is the safest design.

On no account should you use the very cheap (usually Asian sourced) "sealed" seat covers as these will totally prevent the intended safe operation and deployment of the front seat side airbag.

(no doubt what will follow now in response is not the chill blow of sarcasm and accusative racism taunts but the blast of irrational explosive hot air technical denial)

I have a grey set on its way, but sans centre rear headrest cover.

Did get to see & handle a grey set set at a local supplier, seems very high quality indeed! Unfortunately, the front seats were not suitable for electric seats & it also had the rear middle headrest cover missing.

Will take a close look at the velcro strips following Athelstan's post!
