United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Santorini Black
heavy condensation from heater vents

Question
when my freelander warms up the windows begin to fog quickly, if i increase the heat setting its like sitting in a steam room.
I hit programme function on the car and it clears

a little background

this has only started happening in the last few months, there was an issue with the transfer box and it was replaced by Landrover under warranty, then a few weeks later we noticed the drivers and passenger floors were in about half inch of water.
took the car back to Landrover who replaced the screen and dried everything out, stating they could find nothing wrong (screen was cracked by a stone hence replaced)
it stopped doing it for a while and now it is doing it again

i did wonder if the air con water pipe had been missed off or something, but i don't know where it is located to check

any other ideas

is this a known issue

Try checking the drains from the top of the bonnet (where the wipers are) are clear and not clogged with leaves or bits of glass . Ihad the same problem on a Peugeot and it made it worse when you turned the heater fan up.
