Father Of Hurricane Bawbag

Got a call at work from my wife to inform me that we have a lot of storm damage and lost quite a few roof tiles. But this was not the bad news - they had landed on my pride and joy. After a few F Censored s and other words, I made my way home to be greeted with the image below.

Call to AVIVA (who have been great) and the car was picked up within the hour and courtesy car ready for pickup.

I have concerns regarding the respray as my car is Lago Grey and you know the problems we have with replacing this colour. Tonight the approved LandRover repairer has called to say that the damage is:-
1. New sunroofs as they have chunks missing (but they never shattered).
2. New windscreen (original landrover part)
3. New wiper arms and blades
4. New bonnet as it actually is worse than it looks.
5. Paint rear of roof.
6. And the interior is some mess due to the millions of slithers of glass.

Sorry to hear this. How much rain got through the hole in the windscreen as obviously this would run down the back of the dash?
Keep an eye on "Insurance Approved" bodyshops, I allways refuse to use them. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Im happy with the repair garage as they are LandRover, RangeRover, BMW and Porsche recommended. I did a bit of digging prior to calling the insurance and I asked for the car to go there MY13- TD4 XS Mauritius Blue, Privacy glass, Cold climate pack, Tailgate spoiler, Armrest pack, LED signature, Body side mouldings, Full size spare and finally Mudflaps

Tried to claim on house insurance and was laughed off the phone. Aviva (car insurance) have been great and said that I would never be able to claim off house insurance.

Nothing heard back from repairer yet regarding timescales but they reckoned the sunroofs could be problem in sourcing as they are not an everyday part. MY13- TD4 XS Mauritius Blue, Privacy glass, Cold climate pack, Tailgate spoiler, Armrest pack, LED signature, Body side mouldings, Full size spare and finally Mudflaps
