United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Ipanema Sand
Front tow bar

Anyone had a front tow bar* fitted ? If so, how have you found it and was there any need to cut the front bumper? Was it any easy DIY fit?

* For those who haven't come across them, they're used for launching boats, positioning caravans etc. CG probably has one Rolling with laughter

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Santorini Black

I fitted one to my 2002 FL1 TD4 ES; it was an easy fit and did not require any body or bumper mods. I hope the bar for the FL2 (to which I have just upgraded) is as easy. I am sure that Watling Engineers can tell us - they have always been most helpful in the past.

Do let me know your opinion if you fit one before I do.
