Trailer issues - turn signals don't work

Hi all,

A few months ago I installed a trailer hitch & electronics. I just had it programmed at a local dealer. They didn't mention any problems. However when I brought the car home and hooked it up to my trailer the turn signals won't illuminate. When I turn (right or left) the trailer indicator light will flash briefly once and then stay off.

Other than this the trailer electronics seem to work fine: the backup sensors are disabled, the running lights work, and the brake lights work. This is strange since the brake lights are the same lights that are used for the turn signals.

Has anyone had this problem before? Installed a hitch, stock roof rack, mantec skid plates, General Grabbers AT2 255/60/R18, and a rear access ladder. Also made a hitch-mount for the winch. Looking to install a front hitch, rooft-top basket, and lift kit.

I have noticed a similar problem when towing a trailer with LED lights, the trailer indicator light on the dash board only flashes once, but the indictors on the trailer work. If I use a trailer with normal bulbs the trailer indicator light on the dash board continues to flash while the the indicators are on.

Last week I hooked the vehicle's trailer electronics to a set of magnetic trailer lights that I just purchased. They have the same wiring setup as the trailer itself: http://www.amazon.com/12v-Magnetic-Trailer...B004IJKVXU

Still seeing the same issue though so it must not be the trailer... Evil or Very Mad Installed a hitch, stock roof rack, mantec skid plates, General Grabbers AT2 255/60/R18, and a rear access ladder. Also made a hitch-mount for the winch. Looking to install a front hitch, rooft-top basket, and lift kit.
