Wet Carpet

The carpet on the driver's side foot well is wet.

The car goes through a ford (nb not a Ford) most days.

Any suggestions on where the water might be getting in?

Thanks

My old 57 plate i6 had this problem and the dealer found it to be the drain tube from the roof pillar being blocked..... No idea how you check this one out though as the dealer had it for 2 days and apparently took some of the interior trim out??? 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

Same as RegG, our i6 had this when we got in when it was around 2yrs old.
Dealer had it back and fixed a leaking roof drain, replaced carpets and sound deadening that had been ruined and dried out the soggy mess it had made.
They had the roof lining out and this was changed later as were it dried the fabric all came loose.
Hopefully it is one of the easier ones!
