Intermittent loud rattle / buzz when accelerating :(

Guys I need to ask some advice if I may. I've got a petrol i6 auto with less than 30,000 km on the clock.

It's recently just developed a loud rattle or buzzing noise as you accelerate, which relates to engine speed rather than road speed. It sounds a bit like a heat shield but i've crawled under and can't see anything loose or bent. The fact that it doesn't do it all the time makes me think it's not this. It seems to do it more once it's warmed up, but comes and goes. It doesn't seem to do it in neutral.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I'm really worried that the transmission is failing or something Sad

I'll take a look but it sounds a lot louder than a screw buzzing to me. Thanks.

hi i would check underneath the car that the exhaust heatshields are not bent out of shape, it could also be a loose baffle within the exhaust.
the bent heat shield would probably be worse when moving, and the loose exhaust baffles would still cause the noise when stationary.
