Freelander selling advice needed

What would be the best way to sell my Freelander?
It’s 2014 with 44,000 mls.
I know about the selling sites but is there a better way?
Thanks

Advertise it for sale on here?
Quite often there are threads from people looking to buy a Freelander.
Yours would be fairly desirable due to its very low mileage.
Post it up with plenty of photos and description of service history, it will maybe find its way to a new owner who is a member on here. 😁 Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Thanks,
I am a bit concerned about the price I should ask
Don’t the forum rules say I have to post a price?
Thanks

See how much WBAC will offer as a starting point. Jules

My 2013 has only done <73,000km (45,000 miles). I'll only give it up from my cold dead hands!

I keep adding little modifications. Can't think of anything major as I have done these years ago.

I wonder how much prices are dropping on cars, houses are seeing more reduced prices on them. Less buyers willing to commit probably.

Not in any rush to sell it
Would prefer a private sale to a private person.
Then they can have the 4 x spare 18” EVOQUE wheels and nearly new winter tyres and all
the other bits and pieces and take advantage of the 4 x new 19” Michelins
Can’t see the point of giving a trader 2 or 3 grand.

It’s a lot easier to get the price wanted for an item if not in any hurry or need the money. Fingers crossed.

You can get a good idea of value by getting an autotrader valuation on the website which is free and then do a search for similar vehicles/mileage to yours. As mentioned WBAC will give you trade value but your car should be sought after given the model year and mileage. Winter can be a good time to sell a 4x4, particularly given the cold snap we are experiencing at the moment. Good luck πŸ‘

Ditto

Autotrader website will give you 3 quotes - Part-exchange, Private and Dealer which seem quite fair.

I suggest putting on Forum For Sale with info at a price between the Private and dealer.
Don't forget you can negotiate using Private Messaging, so your Advert just needs to be to the point and inviting.
I am sure that it may be just what a FL2 Newcomer is looking for. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 76k+ miles) (MY2015)

Thanks for the helpful replies.
We are downsizing to one car,the Freelander is too big for my wife to drive so it looks like a
Mini Cooper or Cooper S 5 door exclusive.
But doubt if I will ever get anything as good for driving comfort.
I’ve spent the last few months sorting it out so I could sell it privately
So,it’s had a replacement diff, all 4 wheel bearings replaced,Brembo brakes,
Haldex service, going into Landrover Conway for service as it’s due
Mot due in April, but getting new Mot
Just updated sat nav to 2020.
4 x 19” Michelin cross climate suv2 in December
4 x spare 18” Evoque black alloys with nearly new General grabber AT3
The only extras available new where privacy glass, spoiler, towbar & rubber mats.
It had one previous private owner when I bought it from Landrover dealer
6,500 mls when it was nearly 3 yrs old for Β£25,000

I will do the Autotrader valuation and arrive at a fair price
Seen a few for sale between 15 and 17
But I am determined to sell it private if possible
Thanks once again for helpful advice

I also thought things never happened to Freelanders until they reach at least 100k
How wrong I was!

Actually the diff went at under 40,000 mls
It had a haldex pump under warranty at 16,000 mls?
Neutral Am I the only one with early failures?
