Seen on our local pub car park

Seen on Sunday lunchtime owned by a elderly gentleman and his wife.

The most civilised sight i've seen for ages.

I though B&W would add some atmosphere to the shot.
This Alvis was 1939 and not 1917.
And at that time, B&W was the most popular media. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Nick, just for you!!
Taz, thanks for the comments. The sun was just to the left of the subject so i had to raise by 1.5 stops. Agreed, B&W looks much better, particulary on my 23'' screen with a 15mb RAW file Thumbs Up

I don't think Laurel and Hardy would be appropriate in a fine British classic somehow. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Don't want to burst the bubble, but old cars belong in the past. Give me all of life comforts, heated seats, aircon, heated screens. Cool

agree, they were good in their time, but no longer belong on today's roads.

just pure nostalgia that's all.

in the early 70's I thought my Lotus Cortina was the best thing on the road, and true not much could touch it then, but give me my FL2 anyday !!
