Now there's a question:

If you got out of your FL2 with the engine running (say to post a letter) but forgot to put the handbrake on. If it started to roll down the road - when it reached the required speed would it lock the doors (as usual) thereby stopping you from jumping in and recovering it.

Question Confused

No it wouldn`t as you have to press the accelerator for the doors to lock - presumably to "prove" to the car that someone is driving.
I noticed this once after setting off on a long downhill stretch of road, up through the gears but without accelerating - then I touched the accelerator at the bottom of the hill and "CLUNK" everything locked - wondered what it was for a second. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!

Just get your local Key Cutter to copy the blade in the fob, then hang it on a wire loop that is just reachable in the engine compartment.
Do not use those Magnetic Key Boxes, all the rouges now about them (including me).

Dont know if it works with this fob but it does on others.
Get your wife to press the remote into the Mic part of her Mobile Phone, you hold the Speaker part of your Phone against the Door handle and the car unlocks itself. Offset your Carbon emissions by boycotting Baked Beans and all Green Vegitables.

Can't work on any car that uses radio waves from the fob to the receiver, and I don't know of any that don't.
What would come out of a mobile phone (if anything) would have to be an audible signal at a completely different frequency to the radio frequency needed.

Not only a different frequency but would be sound waves, not radio waves. Confused ...
