thanks to this plonker no tractor will ever let you overtake ever again. does he think that farmers are second class citizens and have no right to use the roads?

I think it might be a good idea there is nothing more anoying than having to wait behind a tractor when one is off to the beach or going to play golf ,bring it on. At work

I haven't really signed it, I think farmers do a great job, and having restricted acess wouldn't work,

Sorry, I didn't mean that I've signed and made it 5 - but that it only had five, which shows what Censored it is.

I feel very sorry for farmers, except one of course, but being a maligned minority myself I feel that this would be a good opportunity to gain support for us 'vanners on this site at least by suggesting to the miscreant on this site (no names of course)that in return for showing our support for the farming fraternity and him in particular, bearing in mind that they are essential for our pastime by providing Certificated Locations, the unnamed individual on this site refrains from any further derisory or anti statements about caravanners.
I would not of course issue any threats to him but there is a saying that go along the lines of "what goes around, comes around"
His apology and committment to my suggestion should be forthcoming before I close down the petition tonight. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Ralph

It would clear the roads a little, so only cars and vans up to 3.5 tons would be allowed as any commercial vehicle over 3.5ton is limited to 56mph, more room for the vanners (vaners in CG talk) Wink
