Strange goings on

Sat in my conservatory sorting my files out on my laptop there was a knock at the side door at the same time my perimeter alarm sounded saying someone was within my garden

I was at the door, thinking mother in law was dropping something off with about 3 seconds, lucky keys in hand as it was in my pocket, unlocked door and nobody there, but my gate was open Confused

Stepped out on the pavement and saw too lads sprinting off down the road like ey were doing the 100m sprint

I think they didn't know I was in, as I had no lights on and the wife had it dimmed in the lounge whilst watching tv

Guess I was lucky to be in tonight, no sign on the mildew that the cars had been touched or anything so no idea reasons apart from it's not exactly a door you would going doing knock and run on as it's set back behind a latched gate

Any Police called and will be driving the local beat to see if they can see anything untoward going on

My description was 2 lads, dark clothing running like f**k about 5' tall and most likey sweating with the speed they were running

Mildew condensation what ever it's called Laughing

As for 999 I think it warrents a call as there was obviously not selling cookies at that time more than likely a precautionary knock to see if I was in before kicking the door down Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thought you only dialed 999 if you lived at Dock Green Whistle

Maybe it was Mildred who should have been on the bonnet Laughing 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Get a dog (a big one), or better still, get 2. Where I walk our dog a guy has a couple of Weimeraner's and you wouldn't go in their garden.....They do need a lot of exercise though. Ridgebacks are also good for scaring people away but you really need a lot of land for them to 'patrol'.

What time of night did this happen, Nick? It's always worth ringing the non-emergency line for that sort of thing, as I've not doubt those little w Censored s were looking to screw your place. Npinks, you say you have a perimeter alarm? Was it expensive? Easy to install?
