Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

If we can vote for the best WINTER picture, it must be MihaiB's unfortunate experiance that is the winner Thumbs Up - all the rest are not proper winter photos, just pretty postcard images Shocked

However, taztastic's "latest" pretty postcard pic must be a winner on photographic quality though, if that is the criteria for the competition Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

And the winner is.................................

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

NPinks kindly asked if we would like to judge the recent 'Snow' photo competition, and obviously we jumped at the chance! Cool

After careful consideration by myself and a my colleagues, we chose a winner from a short list of Landy19840, Hicksy, MihaiB and Taztastic.

It may seem a bit controversial as we supplied this particular forum members Freelander, however we took all of the pictures on their own merits, but are pleased to announce Hicksy as the overall winner…… WELL DONE!!!

We particularly liked the way that the photo was staged in so much that Hicksy has carefully driven into the shot and then walked a long way around the back of the vehicle to make sure that there weren't any footprints in sight. The lack of contrast between the white Freelander and the snow makes for a very interesting photo, and we think that the photo would be worthy of any Freelander brochure!

If Hicksy and the three runners up would like to email me their address's then I will gladly send out an Experience Voucher to them. I am not sure if it will be of interest to MihaiB as the vouchers are only valid for the UK Experience Centres, however it is perhaps something to put in a frame............. on the back wall of the garage! Laughing

Well done to everyone who actually found some snow this winter, well done again to Hicksy for winning, thanks to all those who took part, and thanks to NPinks for asking us to judge the competition.

I will be Tweeting the picture shortly, therefore if you want to follow @LookersLR on Twitter then please do!

Regards,

James Thumbs Up

so do we want a no holds barred summer picture comp Idea as many photo's been entered as one likes, with your Freel2 in shot, in a picture perfect setting

making it fair to the foreign folk, the picture must have a shadow cast by the sun in it...... hang on that will rule the UK members out of it Rolling with laughter

It needs a theme to concentrate the mind a little.

Why dont we come up with some ideas and decide.

My suggestion would be using 4x4 as a theme, there would have to be "4" of something shown in the picture?

and no I dont already have a pic Laughing

sounds like a good idea, instead of standard photos, the FL2 (sorry no RRS CG Whistle ) needs to have something within the photo, like my idea, and interesting shadow, or 4 of something in, a pot of custard Laughing

Now this threads finish we can decide in here, then start a new thread, so we can have a thread for entries to be posted, chatted about and then submit the photos later again (or copy paste the links) into a new thread instead of having two threads etc and a judge can decide
