Thanks! My car is in the repair shop now, cylinder head being rebuilt... I guess it will be ready in 2 weeks. I'll share the results when I get it back.

Yes bolted to the front crash bar, behind the bumper.

Thanks! So it's bolted using the existing bolts and holes? Or did you drill new holes to the crash bar? I guess the latter wouldn't be a goo ...

This is my front Tow Bar ..... its a US receiver. I have 'plug-in' bar that gives me a 50mm ball or a winch plate bracket.

One last question: why didn't you go for 245 70 17? I understand that size would also be within the accepted 2.5% and it would give a height lift.

I've been on hollybobs.

I did try to put 25mm spacers on before fitting the new BfG's.
Spacers were no good ( long story) so I took a chance and fitted tyres without anyway.
