350 miles on a good day, from a full tank? Wouldn't that work out at around 23mpg or so? I'm sure everywhere I've read is that is is higher than that.

35mpg would be fine. I'd be happy spending less on a car and then spending a bit on whatever work is needed. But I am thinking realistically, I know it will need maintenance work done being an older c ...

Very true. I suppose I just like the FL2 a lot. I find more of the current SUVs a bit bland

Well my Yeti currently only get 34mpg at the very best. So 36 from a Freelander is better than that!!!

I test drove a 59 plate XS td4.e manual and it drove superbly, even with 107k miles on it. I'm not overly worried about the fuel cost as my mileage is low, but that does with me concerns about the DPF ...

I love the FL2, but am concerned about the running costs. For example, how much does the fuel tank cost to fill up? How many miles do you get roughly per tank? Are there any common things that go wron ...

Is there anything wrong with the manual version? I've had such a bad experience with the DSG box in the Yeti that I think I need to go back to a manual. Also, is the TD4.e much better on fuel than the ...

30+ mpg is fairly economical in my opinion.
What is the difference between the SD4 and the TD4 engine? I test drove a TD4.e and it was lovely to drive, nice manual gearbox too. It did stick getting i ...

My Yeti is a 1.2L TSI. Even on a run it doesn't go over 38 or so.

Okay, there are loads with around 90k miles on and 2007-2008 model years, that makes more sense now!

Just how reliable is the FL2?
I want to change my Yeti DSG as it is a rubbish gearbox. I test drove a 2009 TD4.E with 107k miles on in XS spec, it was listed at £7250 and had 10 service stamps. I wa ...
