It is an auto.
I’ll give a spray and clean a go and see how I get on. Like I say it’s a trivial thing I just don’t want it to end up being a bigger problem and my key gets stuck. |

Hey all,
Bit of an odd one this, but when stopping, putting into park and turning off engine, the key port doesn’t light up green for me to eject.
I have to literally just nudge the gear leve ... |

So I’ve finally found a garage who’s given it a proper inspection.
The noise disappears when you veer right, suggesting a wheel bearing.

Since spoken with freelanderspecialists.com and am pretty certain it’s my front transfer box/PTU that is causing me the issue.
Doesn’t sound like it’s caused an issue to the rear diff / hald ... |

Update latest is that the Goodyears have made marginal difference, still alarmingly loud.
Booked it in for a checkup at a LR specialist who made 5 advisories.
