The mounts are slightly different. The fog lights from pre facelift will fit no problem

Make sure the leak off pipe is actually clipped onto the injector properly...it needs a firm push with the lock unclipped to get it on properly.

You can pull it with your fingers and the glass slides out. Remove the speaker to gain access. I managed to unclip both window clips thru the speaker hole.

It's possible the whine is on the turbo. There is a gasket between turbo and exhaust manifold that can leak. Why was the turbo replaced and was there a boost leak before it happened?

There is an electrical connection on the turbo, called the actuator. Also the MAF sensor on the throttle body. If there is a boost leak can you hear a whistling sound?
