The only area I had any rust on a wheel arch certainly
didn't start where the rubber strips touch the metal,
I would fit them.
but it's your motor your choice. Wink

transmission oils every three years,
hydraulic fluid as and when my spannerman says.

And I certainly cannot recommend formula one either, they didn't
tighten everything up,
luckily I had my spannerman service it two weeks after and he spotted
it.
