Mapped the ECU on several cars and never a problem.

Try Aplan, Lancaster or Adrian Flux. I have also had Aviva cover a mapped car.

I run these all year round, as it goes in fields as well. In fact on Sunday it pulled me out of really gloopy mud. As for snow, in Kent we don't seem to get much now days.
