Problems after replacing front drive shafts etc

Hi all, having changed the front brake discs, control arms and now driveshafts on my 2008 2.2d Freelander I am having problems.

When I go round a corner I am getting reduced drive and it feels similar to a slipping clutch. When I get up to speed I get a fault on the dash saying special programs off and then something along the lines of transmission fault reduced traction.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

I'm sure i saw something similar to this a while ago on here and it was a faulty sensor. Which one I can't remember but someone with more knowledge can hopefully further that line of enquiry. Learned to drive in 2011.
Bought a Micra - great little car
"Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it
Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish
Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental

As you changed both brake discs and driveshafts I wonder if in doing the job one of the ABS sensors was damaged or refitted wrongly? Regards

David

Interesting, I've had a sensor go before and it didn't have the same symptoms. I shall take them out and investigate.

They went back in the same way that they came out but there is a chance they got damaged.

Thanks.

Pretty sure with the correct analyser they can “read” and checked for operation. Regards

Thanks It's booked in with an indie specialist next week now. I was just curious as to the possible cause.
