In my '80s and 90's Range Rovers, the central cup holders/pockets were lined with soft fabric. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a modification to line the Freelanders' cupholders to prevent rattles from sunglasses, loose change, phones, etc.?

To stop squeaks and rattles before final production self adhesive Hoop side Velcro (comes in various widths) was used in prototypes, I carried this through to my various road cars which had annoying S&Rs also.

Of course if you want to keep it looking more production try just using black felt material stuck on with upholsterer adhesive. Regards

I suppose if you going to actually use the cup holders for liquid transportation maybe a more waterproof rubber lining would be easier to wash than felt, although Velcro is nylon so not an issue. Regards
