Is the D5 2l transverse engined?, the V6 seems to be cleaner than a Fiesta and a Clio according to a report a couple of weeks ago which is inline, all the 4cyl versions are transverse except possibly the D5 though Autocar says it's in line my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.

interesting that it affects petrol and diesel and that some require just a software update whilst others need bits replacing. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

They do a transverse and North South orientation of the ingenium engines. DS and Evoque are transverse, everything else is North South.

Strangely, the DS and other LR models have just been reported as among the cleanest cars for NOx. I suppose you can't have everything. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/cars/art...rmini.html Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

If you scroll to the bottom of the article there is a link to the Air Index site https://www.airindex.com/search. You can look up the 2 litre DS and it gets an A rating. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

There is doubt about this. The EU document appears to say it's the diesel DS.

That list is all 4 cylinder models, though not all 4 cylinder models are on the list and not all cover all years of the headline, there are no 6cylinder vehicles on that list, neither is the 2019 DS, petrol or diesel, strange that the DS petrol is on the list and the Ewok diesel and petrol but not the DS diesel
One needs to check blanket headlines, the truth is usually avoided for circulation purposes, there now seems to be no real factual news, economical truth is the new fact.Whistle my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Just announced in Financial Times

Ford will cut 5,000 jobs in Germany and an undetermined number in the UK as part of a plan to turn around its struggling operations in Europe.

The cuts were revealed on the same day the US carmaker announced chief executive Jim Hackett received a package worth $17.8m last year, up from $16.7m a year earlier, despite the carmaker’s profits halving during the year and a 40 per cent fall in its share price.

Mr Hackett has vowed to get to grips with Ford’s non-US business, with plans to turn around Europe, Latin America and China.

Ford employs 53,000 people in Europe, across 15 plants, including 24,000 in Germany and 12,000 in the UK. It plans to lay off thousands of workers, restructure its business and slim its vehicle line-ups in an attempt to return to profit in the region.

On Friday, the company said: “Ford today offered voluntary separation programs for employees in Germany and the UK to help accelerate the plan and return to sustainable profitability.

“Through these programs and other initiatives, Ford of Germany expects to reduce its headcount in excess of 5,000 jobs, including temporary staff. The total number of positions impacted in the UK is still to be determined.” 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Down under if you can see the car in front then it's running clean enough! If it is running like an octopus (cloud of ink) there may be an issue but you probably get away! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
