Park Lane Hilton Hotel

SWMBO's birthday late August and I have just discovered I can get 30% off at the Hilton on Park Lane with my blue light card. She said she would like a trip to London in the summer so I may splash out and treat her to some luxury.

Has anyone stayed at that hotel? Some cracking views from some of the rooms apparently Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Sadly not stopped there, probably as we live in London. Often fancied staying at the Savoy, but only in a room overlooking the Thames. Don't know how they compare for price

I looked at the Savoy and Ritz hotels but I could get 2 nights at the Hilton for the price of 1 night at those. The Hilton is a 5 star hotel as well so not exactly for peasants Laughing It just doesn’t have the historical clout. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

We've always endeavoured to do an afternoon tea as our Christmas treat. Done most of the 'well knowns' - Savoy, Ritz, Claridges, Langhams, Fortnum and Masons, Ting at Shangri-La at the Shard. The food and prices are pretty much the same at all of them, however for atmosphere and service we don't reckon you can beat Brown's Hotel, closely followed by The Goring. Claridges was very unwelcoming, and don't even get me started on the Athenaeum

If you like Mexican food I highly recommend Ella Canta at the InterContinental.
