I replaced that complete return line a while ago after a indy decided they can break the tabs as an value added service!

I removed fuse F16 as per http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic29359.html#324422

Will test today to see if it solved the problem.

The o ring is actually on the injector fitting, not the line if that helps you at all, but best of luck!

Curious what the green tabs actually do.... are they just for positioning, or are they part of the locking of the line?

I'm missing a tab on one side, and it's the one that's leaking. Will be replacing the o-ring as soon as everyone gets back after the christmas/new year break and shops are actually open again, but wondering if i need a new return line as well.

Mine is green with black tabs - you pull the black tabs up if you want to remove the line from the injector. Then pull the fitting off to replace the O ring.

An indy broke the one tab off and I also replaced the O ring, but it kept on leaking, thus I had to replace the 4 return lines which comes as a unit from LR.

Ah might as well order the new line while i'm ordering rings from Rimmer Bros. It's long a wait to be delivered and I'd kick myself if i just ordered the rings and she was still leaking.

Cheers

Replaced my line and O-Rings last night - pretty easy. O-Rings just slipped on, with the offending leaking O-Ring being visibly crunched.

Interesting that the new fuel line had the centre lifting part green, with outside tabs being black. Original was vice-versa.

Was very glad that I ordered a line as well, as one of the connectors actually disintergrated as i pulled it off, with sharp plastic slicing deeply into my thumb. The car seemed to respond well to the blood offering dripped over the engine though, and she's purring away nicely today.

Did you ever find your problem thabogrobler?
