How the other half live...

Had a Freelander in for work a few days back. The owner asked if it could be dropped off to his work when completed, and he offered to show me around his "garage" while I was there Shocked

He opened the door, and I think a little wee came out Embarassed

However, that SLR has less than 200 miles on the clock. It comes out once a year for an MOT, then gets locked away again Big Cry

Just goes to show you never judge a person by their Freelander! And people used to call the Freelander and poor mans Land Rover Rolling Eyes even though up to the end of the cars life certain models were dearer than and brand new evoque. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Wow!
What a collection. The Vw T5 looks a little out of place. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Some lovely hardware there!

A neighbour who runs a used car business tells me that not only has the book price gone up recently on late used Freelanders, he is finding it harder and harder to source decent ones, as owners are holding on to them for longer. Who can blame them, given the current fiasco that is unraveling in front of our own eyes? I've no plans to get rid of mine, that's for sure!

Many hundreds of thousands of pounds of value there and not a fire sprinkler in sight. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

Ah right. Only asked as a similar thing happened to me in Aberdeenshire, very similar garage. Guy asked me if I wanted to look round after my jaw dropped when I saw the 'garage'. First thing I saw were TWO XJ220's, then loads of Ferraris, Rolls, Bentleys, a DB5 etc etc. It was ages ago and I asked him if he fancied the new Aston (can't remember which model) and he replied "Nah. But I might contact Aston martin and ask them to build me a racing version" Shocked

He then apologised and said he had to run as he was catching his private jet to fly to Spa to race his Formula One car. I though this guy is some bullshitter. Then as I was leaving I saw on the wall a huge photo of him in all his racing gear, helmet under arm, standing beside a Formula 1 Ferrari with a whole racing team in a V formation around the car and him. Shocked Shocked Shocked
