United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Firenze Red
Fitted rear tailgate spoiler today

Been waiting for the spoiler to be painted and today it was fitted, I like the look of it just adds a bit to the back end, this goes with the rear mudflaps (front ones in the future when I am brave enough to do the cutting required!) and the rear tail pipe and the bumper footplate. I took a few pics of the bits I have added to it, mostly from powerfuluk.com
I know this may be against the grain for some but I thought the cabin was a touch dreary for a Land Rover. I have a reversing camera to fit sometime in the future when I can work out the best place for it and the screen. I also bought a red rear brake light instead of the later clear one fitted, but I may not bother now as I do like the existing one.
Anyway here are the pics Very Happy

Looks good.
Were those door speaker trims from Poweful? I've just sent two back to them as they are just that bit too small to go over the speaker and sit flat. Pity really because I think it just 'lifts' the dash area a bit.

Yes the car has one previous owner and only covered 14k miles so looks almost new. Re the interior trim, the door covers and piano black covers on the "grab" part of the door along with the covers for the electric window switches were from powerfuluk, the dash trim bits were from eBay cheaper and fitted fine.

I bought these as well but took them off, too much bling even for me Smile

Now all you need is window wind deflectors, door protectors, roof rack & an awning!

When I put my front mud flaps on I didn't have to cut anything. I came to the conclusion they had fixed that problem. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Wind deflectors I am interested in as I have a dog and crack the windows open to keep him happy. I want the in window type not the stick on ones. Roof rack, side steps and roof bars I will leave off as I doubt I will use the roof bars and the side steps on my Antara were a bloody nuicance, kept banging my leg on the Censored Laughing

Re the front mud flaps, what type did you go for and how did you fit them?? 2014 Freelander 2 XS TD4

Front mud flaps are easy to fit, brackets go behind existing plastic panels with minimum modification. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 74k+ miles) (MY2015)

Thanks for the video link, yes I had seen that but I was worried about removing the small part of trim as mine is body coloured and worried it will end up a mess. 2014 Freelander 2 XS TD4

I did mine with LR mud flaps. Don't actually remember cutting anything up to make them fit but it it must have been easy otherwise I'd remember actually doing it. The body coloured trims went back just fine.

Edited to add
Just watched the video... remember doing it now - easy.
