2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Zermatt Silver
Seat collapse

Does anyone have tips on rebuilding a cloth drivers seat? My right side bolster has totally gone flat and everytime you get in and out the car you catch the pump up/down lever.
The back support foam has gone on its left side and I'm now supported by the metal framework going around a left hand bend.
85 k miles but the cloth looks like new. Just a foam issue.

Look on eBay for a scrapyard passenger seat. Almost certainly the foams will be almost unused when compared to yours. I saw a seat for about £60 recently. Seat foams for LH and RH Seats are idéntical. The seat base can be easily removed for you to swop the foams. I have not removed a back, but it should not be too difficult.
Alternatively, new foams from Duckworths (forum sponsors) will likley cost you more than double that price (if they are still available)

Find a vehicle upholsterer in your area, they will be able to get it looking and feeling like new.
