Electrical noise through speaker

I have a 2009 HSE with DAB radio and have just noticed the LHS front speaker in the dash and tweeter speaker in the left front door are constantly giving out a buzzing noise-similar to the background noise you get with poor reception on a radio channel. This occurs when the radio is either on or off and with the engine off or running. The noise actually gets louder when I take the key out of the docking port with the engine off which is really strange. There is no noise from any of the other speakers. Any suggestions for a cause or fix would be much appreciated. The battery is about 4 months old and I haven't had any starting problems.

I tried searching for similar problem, Nothing matches your radio / ignition off noise problem.

As the speakers are directly fed via a twin cable, I dont think it can be earth or power supply, that leaves only a damaged cable touching another and picking up noise. Wiring in flexible door link would be a good place to start.

You need to know in what exact state of power up and down the noise starts and stops. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Many thanks IanMetro. I couldn't find anything similar either. It has sorted itself so I can only assume it was the damp from leaving it standing a few days. I am looking forwards to some proper cold weather rather than damp and cloudy!
