If Hal 9000 were a car

Welcome to the wonderful world of electric SUVs...

"As per the claims made by Rivian, its pickup truck can have a range of around 400-mile and will from 0 to 60 in just 3 seconds. It as well offers real-time updates, a vehicle with 4-engine AWD drive train and capacity of 5 people."

Brilliant looking thing , and a proper shape for a SUV . My only problem with it is by the time it hits these shores when transport costs , import tariffs and VAT are added it’s going to be another £80,000 Chelsea tractor . Still I can but dream , put me down for the pickup version ! 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Best Car I ever owned !

Nice idea, although it looks full size Range Rover Vogue, and priced to suit.

I like the overall shape very much. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 76k+ miles) (MY2015)

Yeah, it's the headlights & grill that gives me the creeps - they look happy-scary, like out of Black Mirror, if any of you are familiar with the SciFi Horror series...

I bet it has voice interaction as well.

the headlights are certainly different but I guess that's the futuristic look.
I like the charge indicator that doubles up as DRL on the front 'grill'......... but how the Censored are you meant to see that from the drivers seat Laughing

Overall I like it, I like it a lot but I bet it hits the 100k mark if/when it ever comes to these shores

well the pistonheads review for the pick up quotes 3 different power packs with 3 different maximum ranges

230-miles in its standard 105kWh capacity,
300-miles in a 130kWh capacity,
or up to 400 miles with the 180kWh 'mega pack'.

so fully loaded about 10 miles on the mega pack, or 2 miles at night in the winter Rolling with laughter
