5ppm for non-fuel items? In car provisions must be very cheap out there, or you make them last Rolling with laughter

52 Pages of posts !

52 Pages of posts and still looking for the silver bullet - 23mpg guzzling petrol like there's no tomorrow and with the incompetence shown over the last 24 hours in Westminster maybe there won't be - right off to the nearest pump for another tank of the green stuff all this 35-45 mpg on the back of spreadsheets just cracks me up - I find waiting for the little orange light and credit card works equally well Rolling with laughter F2 3.2 i6 for the white stuff
F Type 3.0 V6 AWD for the fun stuff

I've recently had a month or so of doing just short journeys instead of my usual mix of lond and short. All of the short trips have been in town and most have been during the school run nightmare time where 5 to 10 MPH is seen to be a good speed. During this time I have only got 22/23 MPG, but that is what you expect when crawling along is 1st or sitting idling. On my usual use of a mix of journeys I get about 33/34 MPG. It's not just how you drive but where and when you drive that has a big impact on fuel consumption.

M40 in Oxfordshire.

Oh for the days when I used to cruise along empty French motorways with the cruise control set to the speed limit. I wonder if we will be able to do that again without having to get visas and international driving licences etc. after the disastrous brexit that is lined up for us.

Look on the bright side, if that applies to us, it will also apply to the French HGV drivers coming over here - and they will strike/blockage the ports, because that's the French way. So the government can prove that brexit is working when the value of imported goods from Europe drop. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

My misses got down to 10.8 mpg on an xs TD4.

500 yard drives, now back to 32.7mpg, more respectable.
😂
