Hi
I have just bought my first landrover got rid of the Mitsubishi Shogun after a year of faults.
Got the Freelander 2 home and the drivers door wont Lock!!! back to the dealers in the morning hope I have not bought a lemon

Then
knocking noise from the back

Had my freelander 2 back in to the garage again
there was a knocking noise from the back when it is on full lock. they said it was the diff oil that needed replacing which they have done. On collecting it was told that it may take a few days to settle down and the knocking will go once the diff oil has reached all areas. The freelander has done 82,000 miles has anybody else had this or is there answer all bull s##t

Then
Just as I thought it will be back in the garage next week thank you for the confirmation

I am not sure what happened in between as I can not find any feedback on his problems.

Been at a landrover dealership working on there building and asked them about the oil and this is something that they do before going any further. As they say always try the cheap fix first. Anyway it now looks like its the Haldex Pump on the rear diff tats at fault (£600.00ish) It is going back in this coming Thursday to Harrats Pontefract for the repair under warranty.
