Change of rear lights.

Why ? Because I can. And I love messing with how my Land Rovers look. I'll still be keeping my other lights for when I fancy changing them back.

I would have them if they were £90 Rolling with laughter too pricey for me, look great though, probably depends on the car colour either black, or maybe silver like mine.

I am guessing your mileage is 141,000 . . . . .. Thumbs Up 2007 HSE with HST bodykit in Zermatt Silver 162,000 miles (dec 2016 - )

Yep, 140500 miles. (DVLA MOT check is your friend Thumbs Up , I always check it when looking at buying a new car).
However, despite the high mileage, it had full LR Main Dealer service history. A History that included a brand new engine fitted at 114000, along with new diff, Haldex and most other parts that seem to let go after the 100K mark.
So far nearly all my mods have been purely cosmetic - the HST bodykit, colour coded mirror caps, black intake grilles and wheels. I've fitted 30mm wheel spacers which make it feel more planted on the road and I can now straddle speed bumps !

I have plans to fit other stuff - but not just cosmetically. For instance I have no need for rear seats. Anyone who knows me - and there's at least one member on here that does, knows how far I can take modifications. So if I take the rear seats out I'd be looking at replacing them with tubular steel , if you get my drift.
I have a sump and fuel tank guard ready to fit, but the sump guard won't fit with the HST kit, and in my opinion doesn't do a good enough job anyway. I'm planning on having a guard fabricated that covers what the original under tray covers at the very least. Then there's the lift kit. But I want to fit uprated springs and shocks first.
I've also spoken to people about having a new exhaust done, one that does away with that massive rear silencer. In fact that will probably be my next mod once a design is worked out. I want it loud enough that people know it's not a diesel, but not ASBO loud. Just enough to release that lovely straight 6 burble.
I've toyed with the idea of making it a 3 door - but that would take too much fabrication. I don't want to just weld up the rear doors !!
Light pod I already have. This will be making an appearance once other mods have been completed first.

But I do reckon the "gloss black rear pillar" mod would really suit your FL2. 🌲 🌲 🌲 🌲

Muddy Mods (on facebook) are now doing a lift kit that is tried and tested, and also appear to be doing custom exhausts. They seem to get good reviews on quality and service.

wonder if Alive tuning do a remap for the i6..... now that could be interesting Whistle 2013 FL2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey - loved it

Yes Rog, Warren at MuddyMods bought up the last of my Freelander 1 stuff and I've kept in touch with him ever since. I'll be buying a lift kit just as soon as I can find a garage here to fit it - I no longer have the facilities at my disposal any more to do the job myself and don't fancy doing it on my neighbours drive in the autumn/winter. Unlike my younger days when I changed a series gearbox on my own in 6" of snow !!
Warren's (MuddyMods) stuff is all first class. I highly recommend it.
