Hi Jim,
Just looking through my notes and I have info in one of the Fakra connections for you.
C2ME05H goes directly to C23R which is the main junction/connection of the main dash harness to ICE harness. This harness connection is accessed through the top of the gear selector and destination is the rear cargo area to telematics harness.

May be a good idea to start your investigation here as the lines to the rear for the Fakra/data lines may already be there and you can add your lines at this point instead of having to run a lines all the way to the rear. MY15

Location DVB-t module/TV

Location of the DVB-t module in the Freelander 2 is under the drivers seat. There are four studs in the floor around the rear passenger ventilation outlets.

A cradle/module holder bolts to the chassis studs and elevates the module above the vents. Thanks to Cambo for supplying the DVB-t cradle pic from Microcat. Thumbs Up

This is logical now as the main ICE harness runs under the driver seat and the main junction for the ICE harness to main dash harness is at the gear shift. MY15

The ventilation pipe just pulls out (about 0.5 metre long), nothing actually holding it in place. Found out by accident when Murphy's law came into play when I lost a fastening for my compressor. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Thanks for advice guys. TV module fitted and loom purchased at good price. Loom replacement looks straight forward, just a bit of stripping for access. Gonna leave this one for easter I think so I have plenty of time, but result should be tv and reverse camera working and also provide Nav antenna connection. 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Thanks for the guide Stuart, added with a hint from Cambo on the CCF, I now have Premium sound. Only have the centre surround speaker in at the moment. Will fit the rears once I've sourced some.

Pictures to follow (I got rained off), the sound is notably improved!

May be advisable to reflash the IAM once you have connected the surround speakers as the system adjusts to the sound. I think you'll also find there has been software updates also. MY15

As simple as adding 3 speakers, changing over AMP's and changing 2 fields in the CCF.

Hi!
I learned your experience and wanted to implement it in my car. In principle, the amplifier should soon arrive. I have the experience of changing the CCF, because I installed and initialized the backlighting of the doors. although it must be acknowledged that it was not easy to find a field because it did not have a name in explicit form.
I wanted to ask you the names of those 2 fields that you need to change in order to register a new premium amplifier
THK!

I would like to give you those informations for free Wink

Centre speaker - Dashboard
- Small centre speaker

Radio Amp and Speaker System
- Premium audio system

There ist also an entry that say with subwoofer, i dont know if it makes a difference to change it to with subwoofer, as my subwoofer works with both options

Good luck with that!

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have the LR part numbers for the late Meridian E pillers for the late FL2 (14) with grey interior trim? Love the posts and information on here.

Paul.
