Tesco Put Diesel In Petrol At Forecourt

Spoiled many people’s day and a few engines ruined I would think.

Diesel in petrol wouldn’t cause any damage as it’s effectively a lubricant but petrol in a common rail Diesel engine would as the petrol would dilute the lubricating properties of the diesel and affect the moving parts of the fuel system, mainly the high pressure fuel pump and the injectors. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

We have a report on BBC that Tesco (Eastville) Bristol, has water in diesel fuel.
