I had KFC “salad, rich and chicken” at work on Friday. It’s the first time I’ve had a KFC since school in the very late 70’s.

It was so awful that I think I can still taste the engine oil - and that was just what they appear to have cooked the “salad” in!

Hasn’t that been KFCs slogan ‘11 dervs and spices’

Google search factretriever.com article in August 2016 states 30m chickens pa. of this 60% frozen from Brazil, 9% from Thailand, 30% from Holland and just 1% from GB. That suggests just 300,000 home grown chickens.

They'll presumably buy from local butchers or wholesalers; not going to be bulk like McD's

it will mostly be wholesale catering suppliers, local butcher too expensive for that At work

Somewhere around Australia we bought some chicken curry. The meat we think was beef, but could have been rat! But it definitely was not chicken.

We in the UK are increasingly told that OZ is the land of plenty, those care home lunches remind us that its just the same at the end of the day. At work
