United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black
My first Freelander too

Just to say hi to everyone. Over the years I've had 4 Discoveries of various types, a Range Rover classic, a Defender 110 and a Series 3 but now have a FL2 and just love it. Just had some General Grabber AT3's fitted too.
But I know I've come to the right place because I have a question for you seasoned FL owners. There is no spare wheel, no jack or brace but have a Slime repair kit. In the boot well there is a hard foam insert tray at shown here. But on the underneath of the boot liner is a distinctive witness line of a wheel rim. So it looks as though a spare wheel has been in there.
I would like to bring this vehicle up to spec as it should have been for this model 2013 GS what should have been in the boot? I can see there have been other types of foam trays with a jack and tools etc.
In the meantime this foam tray I have, although a perfect fit is going to have to come out once I find a spare wheel and tyre.
Any help much appreciated.
[EDIT]: There was no Radio code or Owners manual either. I need version LRL 10 02 56 131

Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 TD4_e Dynamic Manual Fuji White

Welcome Thumbs Up
Full size spare wheel was an optional extra on all MY13> vehicles.

If you had the gunk kit it came with a foam insert (as per your picture) compressor, the gunk and the locking wheel nut key.

The full size alloy came with the locking wheel nut key, jack and the wheel brace. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

In Australia you get 5 alloy wheels as standard

Get tyre plugs & a compressor & you can put as many plugs in the tyre as you like. I have had 4 flats on one tyre alone over the last few years. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I quickly got rid of my gunk kit

I have a dog crate in the back which when strapped in place holds everything in place.

Was just a case of finding a spare matching wheel/tyre on eBay and adding Jack etc. I kept the compressor as useful to have Thumbs Up

I don’t think there’s a code for the stereo.

No code as in battery loss to set but the set may possibly not play in another car and vice versa. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
