United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Izmir Blue
Crankshaft Trigger wheel

Hello all,
Hopefully someone can help.
My camshaft ring gear is knackered so I ordered a new 1 and what came is totally different. If you search for the part number (LR010244) and/or the number (96 443 476 80) which is stamped on old it comes up with what I was sent.
There is no way the new 1 will work. Way too thin.
Is it a revised version and I need a new pulley too?
What’s going on??
2007 td4

Cheers

I also ordered one for a future job (MY08 HSE) and got the one your received. Where did you buy it from, out of interest? The one listed here definitely looks more like your original version. https://www.lrparts.net/lr010244-cps-crank...iesel.html

It came from LR. And I pointed out their etis image shows my part but the part provided is different.
He spoke to a master tech and he said in this case you need the newer type pulley too at a tune of £150... ouch.
Bit the bullet and bought it as I was without car.
You can get a febi kit on ebay that consists of new trigger wheel and pulley for around £90.
If I had more time waiting for delivery I would’ve just bought that
