Satnav map update

When updating maps on 2013 usb does the system retain my previous destinations or do I have to reenter them ?

Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.
(And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! )

I've updated mine recently and the 'Home' location and recent destinations where all there after the update.
