Cooling fan Fuse (F3)

I have managed to get the cover off but cant see a fuse or how to get at it, all i see is a bolt and nut (that is really hard to access), is this a non standard (ie not a spade) fuse, and how does one gain access to it, all suggestions welcomed, thanks

Can you clarify what cover you have taken off? Confused If it is the cover for the fuse box, you should be able to see the fuses! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

I’ve taken off the cover to the fuse box. Fuse F3 has another cover on top inside the fuse box that is a long piece of plastic that slides down over the little bolts on the vertical face of the fuse box

The panel should lift up to reveal the fuses

Take a look at this post (the pictures at the end of the post)

Note: this is for the fuses next to the ones that you are looking for, but I suspect that you remove the next panel to get access for F3

Good luck

Good stuff thanks, turns out it is unlikely to be be the fuse but instead the fan controller (according to my service guys who are very good), Cheers
