Headlamps coming on when locking car

Seeking help and advice from fellow members.

Recently i've noticed that Freeda's lights would come on when I exit and lock the car. this has happened on 3 occasions over the past month now. it occurred during the day and lights came on when the light switch were either in the auto or off position. to switch them off, i'd have to go back in the car and switch them to the On position then back to auto.. then the lights would go off...

Mines a 2011 car and Im quite certain its not a 'follow me' home lights. Anyone encountered something similar? dodgy light switch on the dash? any prior experience?

thanks in advance

I'm sure my MY10 XS had follow me home lights... certainly my 2013 HSE has it.

Are you catching the lights button on the fob when locking the car?
