Tesla - maybe the one you are looking for.

My sons car is on the market via a specialist broker. I can guarantee its only for sale as his wife now wants a new kitchen extension, so his pride and joy has to go!

Oh, I didn’t look at the ad.

Just had a look now.

They are made in Bournemouth then? And here’s me thinking the British Car Industry was dead.

Joking apart,
They look amazing.
0-60 in 2.5 secs

You would have thought this technology could have been introduced before now.

What have we suddenly invented/discovered/developed?

Interesting, last year my son sold his Porsche 911 Carrera S 12 reg with the same mileage for about the same money. Purists will argue that although the 0-60 times are similar, the handling and acceleration at the top end is superior in the Porsche. However it shows how things will develop as the battery technology improves. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Just thinking, in 1967, my 1150cc Coventry Climax engined Turner, could do 0-60 in 4.5 secs!

It cost me £475.

Sods law.

With the Tesla for sale and my son with no car in Leeds, daughter in law (near Harrogate) needed to go to A&E this morning with a ankle injury (she did not want too but I made her) so it was Freelander to the rescue.

Turns out a bone has chipped off a lump so my diagnosis of something more than a mild sprain was correct.

Me and the 2 year old grandchild in his buggy had a great time cruising around Harrogate Hospital to places we should not have been in Razz

Went to relatives in Switzerland at start of the year and their neighbour has a Tesla. He took us for 'quick' run around his local roads - acceleration on the main road was mind-blowing, driving around the mountain bends with no hands on the wheel however was a little disconcerting Wink
And then we get home he parks it remotely in his garage using his mobile Rolling with laughter
