White fog from vents and wet front carpets - help!!

Help please!

I have intermittently been having some white ‘fog’ coming from my FL2’s air vents which we put down to humid conditions.

Well today it’s been like driving a mobile dry ice machine so I sent hubby outside to investigate. He found my front carpets were wet both sides, so took the tunnel panel off and checked the drain hose which was fine. He did however find droplets of water on the black box (matrix?) and a steady trickle of water down the curved ‘slope’ of black plastic on the driver’s side. Any thoughts please?

The drain is definitely draining as there’s always a big puddle underneath when it’s been parked. The ‘smoke’ doesn’t smell at all. And I’m not losing any coolant.

(Sorry can’t work out how to rotate the pics lol)

Hi.

I was wondering if you ever found a cure for the problem? I recently bought a 07 FL2 and suspect I have the same problem. In addition to your symptoms I also have water being blown onto the windscreen as soon as I turn the fan up to try to remove the steam that forms as soon as I turn the temperature up.

Its the AC drain pipe that is blocked with crap. Easy fix for no money, do a search for full info but you need to get to pipe inside the centre console. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Thanks Yorky Bob.

I had a feeling it was heading towards that as being the problem despite the garage saying it was ok. Mind you, they also said the heated windscreen was fixed but when I looked at the fuse diagrams in the owner's manual because it still wasn't working I could only find 1 for the rear window.
