Perhaps a silly question. I’m new to Land Rover and bought a freelander 2 a couple of days ago. But I’ve got no clue what the small controls are in the rear. I thought it was for the radio perhaps? But no clue how to work it or what it’s for. Anyone any ideas?

Firstly hello and welcome.

The controls in the rear are for independent listening through headphones.
So each connection can either listen and adjust the volume for the radio, cd or ext input regardless of you are doing in the front. It can even be switched off. So one could be listening to a cd and the other the radio or both the same thing, both having inderpendant volume control that doesn’t affect the volume on the actual stereo.  MY06 FL1 TD4 2 door red (gone)
