Last night a stripped out the headrest TV's, these were wired in to the glove box fuses, via piggy back fuses, which were left in place with the cigar socket on the end. Everything worked fine afterwards as i went out in car and had radio on

This morning i remembered i hadn't removed my quick connector for the CTEK and removed this

I then went out in the car about half a hour later and this time the screen is not showing radio button, the phonebook is out too and it says please pair phone, and the sativa says initialising

I occasionally have the phone issue when my batteries low, but never had the others like this

I have checked all the fuses, i could fine, that seem to be connected to the audio system and still like this, even soft reset hasn't worked

anybody come across this before, solved it, or got any further suggestions

this is what happens when you piggy back a fuse in the boot, for a live supply and put the fuse back in to a blank connector not the one that you should have

lesson learnt, be more careful

I've seen this very recently, twice in fact.

The first time I had not connected one of the MOST connectors, these are the pair of orange glass cables that make the audio comms loop. This will also happen if a MOST component is not powered.

The second time I had been messing with CCF and the AV system had been set to RSE, which I then turned off in CCF and the system became 'stuck'. Multiple presses of the MODE button eventually recovered the brown trouser moment.

If you remove power to a MOST module then it can take some time for it to 'recover' and may need a full battery reset (and window range relearn). I'm betting one of the piggy back fuses supplied a MOST module.
