What is this hose?

What is the big, in my car oily, black hose in the front of the engine?

I believe that’s the intercooler pipe that connects to the throttle body assembly MY06 FL1 TD4 2 door red (gone)
MY07 FL2 SE TD4 black (gone)
MY13 FL2 GS TD4 Santorini black

Yep! That's the intercooler pipe!

oil...

Thanks Super Swift answers

I have titened a hose-clamp and hope that will help to decrease the oil leakage from the hose.
Anyway, I think its from where it comes...

Is it normal to have oil in that hose, leakage or not?

Yes, there will always be some oil in that hose and its not uncommon to have a light film of oil on the hose or a drip or two from the hose clips.

Also if you look just left of that hose you will see the oil filter housing & it’s not uncommon for the inter cooler hose to get covered in oil when a oil filter change is carried out.

Make sure you position the jubilee clip screw at the highest point on the hose as it sometimes puckers up at the screw position allowing oil that is settles in the hose to drip out even when tight. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
