[Resolved] Set of 17" or 18" wheels and tyres

Hi all

I'm looking for a set of wheels and tyres. I'd love a set of the BH52 rims like this one on ebay... but will consider all styles.

or something in black. 18" preferable.

I'm on a budget as just made redundant Sad -Mark

I have a set of 4# 235/55 R19 with Continental Crosscontact UHP 105V, on Technical Grey Diamond. Tread depths various 6-7mm. They are original issue from my 2012 FL2 HSE, but I wanted a softer ride so exchanged them for 17" wheels.
They are available in Surrey up to Tuesday 20 March _OR_ from about mid April (Holiday in between). Please make offer if interested.

Worth also keeping an eye open for Evoque wheels. They are coming onto the market nowadays - seems a lot of owners buy new wheels when the first set of tyres wear out, then the dealer sells the originals on. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Quite a few possible reasons (has been discussed on the forum before).
1 - It's sometimes cheaper to buy a set of wheels and tyres rather than just the tyres. Bizarre but true. We think this is either because the tyres have become out of date (tyres on a new car are not permitted to be more than a few months old) or because a buyer has specified different wheels, so the dealer charges for the new wheels, then sells off the old (brand new) ones.
2 - People fit different wheels and sell their old ones on e-bay.
3 - People decide to buy different fancy wheels from a specialist supplier who sells the old wheels.
4 - People have a damaged wheel and either don't know about refurb or just want new wheels. A dealer may use the good ones to make up a set.
As an example, I have a set of Evoque wheels bought from a wheel supplier in N Ireland. They are in good condition but slightly stained, and came off two different cars. I assume they had done about 30000 miles and the owners wanted something a bit different to replace them. Tyre condition was immaterial as I wanted to fit new winter tyres. They are Evoque wheels and oddly they were advertised as fitting only Evoque and FL2. I had to convince the dealer that they would fit my DS!
Here they are:
