To highjack the thread... Does anyone on here use a deer whistle? I’ve always worried that they just scare the deer and get them moving, when they are better-off relaxed and staying put at the road-side. Also worry about their effect when passing horse & rider. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

Thank you everyone for all your suggestions.
I know that the bra can cause damage if left on the vehicle.
I too learnt the hard way a few years back!
If I manage to find one, it will only be on the vehicle for the one day journey before being taken off.
The Aussie company can supply it, but this will cost me nearly £400 which i cannot justify.
I may end up with just the bonnet bra or the suggested plastic stone and bug guard.

The magnets are cool, but don’t offer bonnet protection a cross the width nor bumper protection.
Any more suggestions are welcome.

Thank you all.

Badger

Yep .... get the train and leave your FL2 wrapped up in a 'down filled' duvet in a nice warm garage! Neutral

Just use the bl**dy thing as it is ....... it's an FL2, designed for on and off road use over many thousands of miles.

It's not a precious work of art!

Rolling Eyes FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

Don't take it out of the garage, you may scratch it like me, done both mirrors forgetting to fold them, also scrapped the front wheel arch on the wall. A small scratch on the roof doing the roof racks. As others have said, it is a car & use it.

The rims look like crap due to our high kerbs & a handfull of scratches people have added to the front & back from parking in the street.

Scratches from outback gravel & corrugated roads with stones flying everywhere, none! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

& hermetically seal it in a plastic bubble http://carcapsule.com/ filled with nitrogen!

While I was on holidays I lent the garage to a neighbour & they exited at the wrong end!
