Radio code after new battery ?

As above, I have an 09 Freelander XS, I have fitted a new battery, done the windows up and down thing, which is fine but although the radio turns on and has stations, I seem to have lost the phone operation and CD player selection. The radio display has a section to the right which looks like a code input ? I have Lots of info with the car but no code, do I need one ?

No you don't need a code they don't have one. Try disconnecting and reconnect your battery again see if that's works. It's only the windows you have to reset. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

I don't think there's a code,I once fixed a cd issue by pulling the fuse starting the car and replacing the fuse and all was sorted.

No code needed. You only have to reset the time on the clock. Thumbs Up

Not too difficult, a bit of pushing cables out of the way, & reset the clock, time & date. https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic30002.ht...p;start=15
